Privacy Policy — PianoTuner

Microphone and local tuning
PianoTuner uses microphone access to analyse pitches and piano harmonics on your device. Live audio samples remain in temporary memory for analysis. PianoTuner does not save or upload microphone recordings. Tuning preferences and saved tuning measurements are stored locally; Android backup settings may include local app data in your device provider's backup.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free edition uses Appodeal to provide banners, occasional interstitials and optional rewarded advertisements. The Android integration includes AppLovin, BidMachine, Unity Ads and Mintegral. AdMob and Google UMP are not used by this integration.
These advertising services may collect and share IP addresses, approximate region inferred from the network, device or app identifiers, technical device/network information, advertising interactions and diagnostic/performance information. Some partners also process pseudonymous user identifiers. These data support advertising delivery and measurement, analytics, service operation and fraud prevention. Advertising identifiers depend on your Android version, permissions and privacy choices. PianoTuner does not request precise location permission or provide your microphone audio, name, email address, contacts or payment card details to advertising partners.
The integrated consent manager presents privacy choices where required before advertising initialization. You can revisit advertising privacy choices in the app settings and use Android's advertising privacy controls. Refusing personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent all technical processing necessary for contextual advertisements. Pro access suppresses advertisement display; it does not delete information already collected by providers.
Provider details and rights mechanisms:
• AppLovin privacy policy and privacy management
Advertising partners may process data outside your country, including the United States and other countries, subject to their published safeguards and applicable law. Provider retention periods and deletion procedures are described in their policies; advertising data are not necessarily processed only for the duration of a session.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Google Play processes purchases and payment details. RevenueCat validates purchases, restores entitlements and manages access to paid features. RevenueCat receives purchase history, purchase tokens/receipts, a pseudonymous app user identifier and technical context needed to provide and analyse the purchase service. Purchase history is retained for entitlement management and is not processed only in temporary memory. PianoTuner does not obtain your credit card number or bank details. The app has no user registration or login.
See RevenueCat's privacy policy. We do not send purchase history to Appodeal using its in-app purchase tracking API.
Requests, retention and deletion
Contact eliah@ia-m-ai.com to request access, correction or deletion of data handled for PianoTuner. Explain which service or purchase the request concerns; do not send payment card details. We may need enough information to locate the relevant pseudonymous purchase record and verify the request. Data necessary for legal obligations or to establish valid purchased entitlements may need to be retained as permitted by law. Provider-specific advertising requests can also be made using the links above.
Local preferences and tuning data can be removed using Android app storage controls or uninstalling the app; device backup copies are controlled separately by your backup provider. Uninstalling does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription or delete data held by advertising or purchase providers. Manage subscriptions through Google Play.
For privacy questions or complaints, contact the address above. Where applicable, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, may withdraw consent and may complain to your data protection authority.
